We are delighted to introduce you to our Sixth Form at St Wilfrid’s Catholic School. We have exceptionally high aspirations for our Sixth Form to be a centre of excellence and, if you choose to join us, we will encourage you to have similar aspirations during your time with us and for your future. We understand that the choice of Sixth Form is a crucial decision for you and one which you must feel confident about. At St Wilfrid’s we will offer you a first class education in brand new facilities which have been purposely designed with your needs as a Sixth Form student in mind. We also have a professional staff who will care about your progress and who will challenge you to reach the very maximum of your personal potential. St Wilfrid’s Sixth Form is a community built upon Christian principles. Each individual is valued for what he or she can contribute to our community and for the strengths and talents they have. St Wilfrid’s are celebrating another year of outstanding results! Year 13 students attained a remarkable 99% pass rate, which is above the national average, with 16% achieving A*-A grade, 43% achieving an A*-B grade and 79% achieving A*-C, an increase of 9%. AS results were just as good with an increase average point score per entry of 186, an increase of 6 from last year. This represents an ongoing upward trend for the St Wilfrid’s Sixth Form putting them in the top 10% of schools nationally according to ALPS Data. |

Study Periods |

Study Periods are set for both years 12 & 13 and all students are expected to be on site during study periods. During this time students are encouraged to find something constructive to do with their time, such as self-study, or helping in other classrooms. |
